Payment methods
Five ways to get paid, chosen per channel.
Turn each on for the storefront, for quotes, or for invoices independently. Fees are charged by your provider, not by us.
Card payments

Connect your Stripe account. Cards are charged on your account and settle to your bank on Stripe's schedule. Supports 3-D Secure, refunds from the admin, and optional card surcharges.
You need: A Stripe account and its API keys. Webhook is configured for you.
Bank payments
POLiStorefront checkout · quotes · invoices
Customers pay directly from their bank without a card. Funds clear to your account; the order or invoice is marked paid when POLi confirms.
You need: A POLi merchant account (New Zealand and Australia).
PayPal
PayPalStorefront checkout
Offer PayPal alongside cards. Payment is captured to your PayPal business account and reconciled against the order.
You need: A PayPal Business account and REST API credentials.
Bank transfer

Show your bank details and a reference on the document. Staff mark the invoice paid when the money lands; the order releases for fulfilment then.
You need: Nothing to connect — enter your account details once.

Approved companies buy on account. Orders post to their account, invoices carry your terms, and the accounts team follows up from one list.
You need: Enable per company; set a credit limit and terms.
How money moves
From checkout to your ledger, without a gap.

Checkout
The customer picks a method you have enabled for that channel.

Capture
Your provider charges the customer on your account. The platform records the payment against the order or invoice.

Settlement
Funds settle to your bank on your provider's schedule. We never hold them.

Reconciliation
The payment, any surcharge and any fee sync to Xero so the books match without a monthly cleanup.
